The Walk for Women's Cancer is an annual 35km charity walk event around Perth, raising funds to help support lifesaving research into breast and ovarian cancers at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.

For the 2018 event campaign, a number of long-time participants were asked to feature as ‘Walk Heroes’.

They generously agreed to share their inspiring and extremely personal stories of how their lives have been impacted by cancer – a number of them are cancer survivors, many have lost loved ones, and others are the supportive family and friends of those affected.
